The article mentions Lord Peyton. This is Edward Peyton, whose entry in DNB (The Dictionary of National Biography), strangely, makes no mention of a title! Eilthireach 03:05, 15 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

What is this nonsense about the town of Mahé ? His family name was Mahé, his grand-parents lived in Dinan (Côtes d'Armor, Brittany)and owned a property called La Bourdonnaye (or Bourdonnais). The use of a family name plus a place-name was frequent in the area at this time and is no proof of nobility. Mahé de la Bourdonnaye was not from a noble family - unlike Jacques Gouin de Beauchesne.--Boulet rouge 21:34, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
