Introduced the gray squirrel into Ireland? edit

Did this guy infamously introduce the gray squirrel into Ireland? According to John Long, Introduced Mammals of the World: Their History, Distribution and Influence (p. 147), the "Earl of Granard" in 1913 is responsible. This article implies this is the man. If so, this article definitely needs a section on it given the disaster this has caused to Ireland's red squirrel population. 188.141.10.11 (talk) 15:35, 29 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
