Book merger edit

I don't see any point in it. Books for the most part seem to generally have separate entries, and the magic of the net and wiki is, you can link from one to the other in seconds. Chris Rodgers 06:46, 7 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I would also contend that to merge an author's information with one selection would be marganalizing to both his person and his greater body of work. Stephen Lee 09:07, 23 March 2006

doesnt make much sense to me as to why these articles would be merged. why put the summary of one of his books in the middle of his biographical page. it may seem a bit out of place Michael Franco August 28th 2006

body of work edit

Two points: 1. Dr. Bailyn has a new book called The Barbarous Years: The Peopling of British North America. (Not bad for a 90-year-old!) 2. I think the "publications" section should be in chronological order, from latest to earliest, or however the format is. As it is now, with different books out of order, it seems a bit cluttered. I think it should be cleaned up a bit. OK? 74.69.11.229 (talk) 03:26, 14 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

ordering the books is a good idea. However I recommend you register as a regular user before doing so. Rjensen (talk) 03:35, 14 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have made valuable contributions to numerous Wikipedia articles for years. I thank you for your recommendation but have no intention to act upon it. 74.69.121.132 (talk) 02:57, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wiki-skeptic edit

Why is historian Benjamin Carp described as a "wiki-skeptic" (last sentence of "Major themes and ideas" section)? This is a word with no clear meaning. RobOCalla (talk) 02:13, 31 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
