As far as I know (I haven't been there lately), the BIEL is not closed. It's just that the current situation in Lebanon isn't really suitable for holding many "leisure" events. Though now that I remember, I do think there was an international book fair in BIEL within the past two months. By the way, the BIEL doesn't have an Arabic name, so I hope you don't mind me removing the tag. —LestatdeLioncour t 08:09, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

As the General manager of BIEL , i would like to inform you that the website was simply not updated since a long time , and we are just launching our new website.
