Dear Pedro, I hope you can help me out. I wrote the new article for Behgjet Pacolli together with him in person here in Lugano, Switzerland. I belive the artikle reflects his most accurate biography and history. I hope the article meets the standards of Wikipedia and i truly belive that the best artikles one can write about a person is when that person really tells the story.

I hope you can understand and keep this new and updated article.

Ok, I reorganized and cleaned up this edit. The most significant changes I made were to remove sources that don't meet the standards at WP:RS. For example, balkanwelfare.org is not only a blog, but it appears to exist solely to promote Mr. Pacolli's activities. Additional information

Pacolli's company constructed a large portion of Astana, the brand-new capital of Kazakhstan. I've seen that they may be responsible for building as much as 60% of the city. This article references Mabetex's involvement, but it doesn't mention how much of the city they built. Biased?

So far the most of the article is centered around scandals related to Pacolli in Russian politics. On the other hand, the guy is a popular Kosovo politician, a builder who has built quite a few prominent buildings as well as a philanthropist. I feel we need to include some of those data, otherwise the article is unbalanced. We have an author who is pushing for very positive version of the biography (unfortunately completely unreferenced). Behgjet Pacolli's New Book

Currently, Mr.Pacolli is writing a book based on his life experience which is looking forward to coming up soon and many see it as a motion picture. The book should be out sometimes soon this or next year! Behgjet Pacolli has inspired so many people the way he has struggled in life and survived after kissing death and juggling so much at once in all above living. Behgjet Pacolli is powerful, faithful to his country and looks out for the best of everyone in life. Due dates of the book should be coming up soon. Thank You for Your Patience

First of all it's a shame you are using wikipedia for political discussions and hatered. Second the original article about Behgjet Pacolli until he became president was officially accepted by Wikipedia. This vandalism should stop and the article should be reverted to its original state to at least a 20 february 2011 revision. Ok, can someone please explain why the neutrality of this article is disputed? Can someone please explain how this article violates WP:NPOV? Unconfirmed links being Button-Rouge mayor

I was unable find any singnificant links that say that Behgjet Pacolli held any degree or position in the Lousiana city of Button Rouge. What the article links right now is a "404" page on the author parge himself(that is nor Significant sources).

I was unable to find sufficient verification Behgjet Pacolli was a honorary cititzen OR mayor of button rouge, moreover List_of_mayors_of_Baton_Rouge,_Louisiana says he never was a honorary mayor, whatever the prerequisites are. I've sent an email for the office of state of Baton Rouge, LA to clarify what is the status of Mr. Behgjet Pacolli, meanwhile I strongly suggest you to exerice cauticion when attributong the titles to the mr. herementioned.

Russian Corruption Scandal

This page should reflect that in 1998 Mr Pacolli was involved in corruption scandal where he was awarded large contract in Russia and Russian-affiliated companies in ex-ussr republics for generous cash-knockbacks to government officials. He was under criminal probe(initiated by attorney general). As a result of this probe the Attorney General of russian federation was fired, that shows the scale of the scandal. Please check the page in russian wikipedia ru:Дело_Mabetex. The very notion of Mr. Behget becoming a prominent politic in R. of Albania may be support from corrupted russian politics. POV issue

Freedomday2022, a declared COI editor, is directly editing this page without using the edit request system. They've rewritten a large portion of the page and it needs heavy clean up to ensure neutrality. I'm going to repost a portion of what I said in on COIN.

• The COI guideline does not absolutely prohibit people with a connection to a subject from editing articles on that subject. Editors who have such a connection can still comply with the COI guideline by discussing proposed article changes first, or by making uncontroversial edits.

The edits they've made are not uncontroversial and I have reposted an investigation which Pacolli and his company (Mabetex) were directly involved. In a historical sense, it set off a chain of events which led to the presidency of Vladimir Putin. The addition of the “Russian corruption scandal” section was correctly tagged as a WP:BLP issue.[1] I had thus reverted it. It was later reinstated.[ https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Behgjet_Pacolli&diff=1144647355&oldid=1144373929] The editor who originally posted this also claimed that Pacolli’s actions have, “In a historical sense, set off a chain of events which led to the presidency of Vladimir Putin”, which is a conspiracy theory not supported by any reliable sources.

There is not enough certainty to call the matter a “scandal”. The Guardian uses the wording “alleged scandal”. It is also important to note that most sources discussing the matter focus on Boris Yeltsin, not on Pacolli. The CNN source doesn’t even include the name “Pacolli”.

Yuri Skuratov has not opened a bribery investigation against the Mabetex Group; the cited source (NYT) doesn’t support this claim. The Swiss authorities have opened an investigation, and they have searched Mabetex’s Lugano office (see Elfie Siegl, FAZ, 1999 or Washington Post, 1999). However, a prosecution has not followed, because no evidence was found (cf. Michael Martens (FAZ, 2007, and the 1999 Der Bund article “Schweizer Unternehmer weist Schuld zurück”), both cited in this article. The witness who accused Pacolli of wrongdoings was reportedly “angry” with Pacolli, because of $3 million he had not received from one of Mabetex’s former employees. It remains questionable, whether the witness has said the truth. It is to be doubted when considering that the Swiss authorities have not prosecuted Pacolli.

I have, therefore, edited the section. It is true that Pacolli has granted credit cards to the Yeltsin family, and it can be mentioned in the article. I have even cited sources discussing this fact. It should be pointed out that an investigation took place because of that, but that the Pacolli case was dismissed by the Swiss authorities. They have not found any reason to prosecute Pacolli. This is now described in the article, and I have cited several high-quality sources supporting all claims. Freedomday2022, you do understand as a declared COI/paid editor that there is a process for submitting requests for edits, correct? Please review the link. I will come back to what you've written here when I have more time. My issue with this article is you have either written or re-written large portions of it, creating a massive POV issue. You are paid by Pacolli/Mabetex and cannot be un-biased to the tone of the article. If you do not like how it is written, normally I would suggest editing the same topic addressed here on Boris Yeltsin's page, but you have a clear conflict of interest in editing the topic. 30Four (talk) 07:28, 23 March 2023 (UTC)

Hello 30Four, you have been claiming on multiple occasions that me editing the article has created a massive POV issue, but you cannot actually say what this issue is. You also say that I "cannot be un-biased to the tone of the article", which is an argumentum ad hominem, but also not a proper explanation for the alleged "pov issue" that you have, as of yet, failed to explain. Instead, you have added portions of text to the article which cited sources that were totally unrelated to the topic. Your edits were tagged as a WP:BLP issue. And you have propagated the conspiracy theory that Behgjet Pacolli has "set off a chain of events which led to the presidency of Vladimir Putin". Could you please explain what parts of the article you believe need to be addressed, and why? Any portion of the article you've edited presents a direct conflict of interest considering you're paid for your contributions. {{POV}} is used as the neutrality tag, hence "POV issue". The article is heavily favoring Pacolli and was quick to remove any scandal from his page, of which was even listed in this talk page in years ago. While the event may not have directly lead to Putin's presidency, this scandal did occur right before Yeltsin's resignation amid tanking popularity, quickly followed by Putin's first decree as president: lifelong immunity from prosecution for Yeltsin. Your revision of the events seem to ignore the Russian investigation, which did not cooperate with Swiss investigation, per this article from the New York Times.
