I've checked with Rebecca and www.rebeccaknox.net is her "official" site now.

Comment about return to action

In January 2007 she announced her return to wrestling and will participate in a mud wrestling match against former WWE star Sable (Reno Mero) in Daytona Beach in February

I'll review this article tonight. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 17:26, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

Here are the issues I found:

  • "of the Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling" the can be removed
  • "eight cranial nerve" eighth you mean? (listed as such twice)
  • Does her brother have an article to link to? If not no big deal.
    • Nope, no article. Don't even know his real name actually. NiciVampireHeart 16:57, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

I'll put the article on hold and pass when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 15:30, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the review. Much appreciated. I believe I got all your concerns. NiciVampireHeart 16:57, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Becky Lynch

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Becky Lynch's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Orange hair plus goggles

Should we mention this new appearance on Raw and how it resembles Radical Edward from Cowboy Bebop, which began in 1997? Or as some noticed, the card Chandra from Magic the Gathering (2007ish) Perhaps she saw this anime while working in Japan and was inspired to emulaet it? Ranze (talk) 02:18, 21 July 2015 (UTC)

No, unless a reliable wrestling source says so. --wL<speak·check> 04:41, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
Reliable source provided for Chandra on May 20 when she debuted the look at her NXT title match, so please keep it in. Nothing on Edward from Bebop though, should keep it out unless media also commented on that. Less of a resemblance, shorter hair, smaller chest, darker skin. 174.92.132.81 (talk) 15:33, 21 November 2015 (UTC)

In Wrestling

I edited this section yesterday to replace "Japanese Arm Drag" for "Arm Drag", and now it's back to the former. However, she actually uses the regular version of the move, where you twist to your side, whereas in a Japanese Arm Drag you fall backwards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.160.96.181 (talk) 10:34, 4 July 2016 (UTC)

The Man/Feud with Ronda Rousey

@Iamveselin: "Feud with Ronda Rousey" seems more appropriate and appealing to me. "The Man" seems quite vague and cliched. Plus she was still the Smackdown Women's Champion while simultaneously changing her attitude. Perhaps I am missing a point. I assume it is too early to consider it a feud with Rousey? Let me know your opinion. Ikhtiar H (talk) 13:44, 26 December 2018 (UTC)

I think The Man is better header. Sometimes we include nicknames and characters as header. For example, The Undertaker. Her feud with Ronda may be over in two months, but The Man explains better her change. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:36, 20 January 2019 (UTC)

Managing in Shimmer

Is there a reason why her career hiatus section doesn't include her managing Saraya and Britani Knight in Shimmer? I know she didn't do a huge amount but I still think it's notable as one of her few appearances in wrestling from 2007-2013, but I don't want to add it if there's a reason it's not been included. Tony2Times (talk) 01:01, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

@Tony2Times: Go ahead, feel free to add that. I don't find any reasons why it shouldn't be added. FYI, I worked the article for the past couple days. THE NEW ImmortalWizard(chat) 23:40, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

Born in Limerick

Becky was actually born in Limerick (where else would an Irish lass with a love of wordplay be born?), and moved to Dublin when she was 1. She says this in her recent Lilian Garcia interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO_0dnhw1Nc) and mentioned it on Twitter (https://twitter.com/beckylynchwwe/status/598303787674112001) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C4:1B80:1700:BD2E:B76:F58B:A740 (talk) 05:38, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

I would like to provide an edit request to include the piece that I have written below on Becky Lynch's page following the section that details her return at SummerSlam in 2021, after the first sentence under the subsection that reads 'Return (2021-present).

"Following her attack on Belair, Lynch would turn heel once again. Since returning to the company, Lynch has dubbed herself as "Big Time Becks" along with her previous identifier as "The Man."[1]

Heel Turn

I don’t know why this is such an issue, all you have to do is look up “Becky Lynch Heel Turn” and you’ll see multiple sources and opinion pieces on the subject and confirming the turn. Aardwolf68 (talk) 06:08, 13 October 2021 (UTC)

  • Becky Lynch is definitely not a face now. I don't understand why edits on this turn are constantly being reverted. Margarte00 (talk) 09:02, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
I’ve gotta feeling it has to do with some bias due to how loved she is. And wihile I understand that, it’s just a lie to pretend that she isn’t a heel when multiple sources, including Becky herself, have confirmed her to be a villain. Aardwolf68 (talk) 18:45, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
@Aardwolf68: Could you show me the citation that supports this edit by you: "and turning heel for the first time since 2018". You know that you can't add your original research or personal analysis/POV to WP articles. Mann Mann (talk) 13:19, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

Here are 6 sources that have discussed the heel turn in some capacity, I’d also like some evidence from how Becky taking a cheap shot at Belair before the match, mocking her, and then cheating to in her first title defense isn’t turning heel? With all due respect, it seems like you’re just ignoring all of this for zero reason. Aardwolf68 (talk) 08:44, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Now, Becky’s won after using an exposed turnbuckle, is there more evidence that you need before you stop claiming “original research and POV”? Aardwolf68 (talk) 04:48, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

Agree. The heel turn is sourced. The the other stuff, too much In-Universe, but the heel turn is sourced. Also, I don't like the "since XX" label. Wrestlers turns every few years. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 09:55, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

Becky's reign as RAW Woman's Champion lasted 399 days not 374 days. (398 days recognised by WWE). This needs changing. See reference links below.

The links are valid, and WWE speficially posted to recognise 397 days on 9 May, so 399 for 11 May is correct - the "longest reign" link is deployed, but an explicit one, or a change in the profile page, would be even better. Thanks for bringing this up. SeoR (talk) 12:12, 13 May 2020 (UTC)

This has been altered again to state 374 days which is the wrong information and needs changing back. I Have no idea why it has been altered again to a wrong number. She held the RAW Women's Championship for 399 days before vacating to Asuka. (398 days recognised by WWE) I already provided the sources back in 2020.

2k Game cover irrelevant

It doesn';t matter that 2K games are separate from THQ era WWE games (2000-2013), fact is it would be notable only if Becky was the first female to be a cover star in a WWE game, but she is not Torrie was featured in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 cover. It is pure WP:Fancruft to add Becky's cover name not to mention in the terrible game that WWE 2K20 is! Dilbaggg (talk) 08:58, 22 July 2023 (UTC)

Also WWE Day of Reckoning 2 more prominently featured Stacy as a cover star. 2k games being different from THQ era games is not WP:Notable achievement to be in a cover of, then The Rock should be mentioned as the first to be a cover star in any 2K game WWE 2K14 which is also not WP:Notable. They are all WWE games irrespective of developers and its pure WP:Fancruft and WP:Undue to add Becky's cover star appearance as a big accomplishment! Dilbaggg (talk) 09:19, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
