Lyrics? edit

I would like to know how the Springstein / Smith lyrics differ. How was his perspective different from the female one in which she cast it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.247.166.205 (talk) 01:30, 9 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Too Much Cascada edit

What is the relevance of the section devoted to listing every conceivable remix of Cascada's cover version of this song? It smacks more of promoting Cascada's interests rather than being of any real value to the article.92.234.48.114 (talk) 01:30, 18 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

None whatsoever, so I am removing it. Scribble Monkey (talk) 22:04, 18 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
If one wanted to mention a Dance version of that track, one should probably pick the Jan Wayne version as that was far more successful art the peak of the Vocal Trance era in 2002. --Mastacheata (talk) 13:17, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
This discussion has been stale and that Cascada section was in the article for years, but is that even relevant? Everyone who participated in the discussion agrees that the Cascada version isn't noteworthy at all. Cascada itself is a hugely successful dance act, despite lacking any recent success in terms of new records, but I still stand with my argument that if a Dance version of Because the Night should be featured, it should be the one by Jan Wayne since that was a) more successful by large and b) published at the peak of the Vocal Trance hype in the early 2000s. I'll obviously not try to delete it again, but I'd love to invite Aspects to join this discussion and argue why the Cascada version was noteworthy in any way. Just because a mistake has been tolerated for many years shouldn't keep us from fixing it. --Mastacheata (talk) 14:16, 13 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
This discussion was that there was "Too Much Cascada" remixes. At the time of the discussion there were 21 Cascada remixes listed, [1] and after the two users agreed that was too many, Scribble Monkey deleted the remix list, but left the infobox and the charts, [2]. None of the notable cover versions had their own sections until March 2012, when User:Canadaolympic989, expanded the article, [3]. Since then none of these notable cover versions have had their sections removed, except you removing Casacada's this past December, thereby being the consensus that would need to be changed. The reason I reverted that removal was as I stated in my edit summary, this is a notable cover version charting on seven national charts and if it were the original version it would have its own article. Co.Ro featuring Tarlisa edit

One of the Co.Ro featuring Tarlisa mixes includes a fragment of a cover of Depeche Mode's Master and Servants -repeated sample of the opening "It's a lot"... at the beginning and during other parts of the song.109.224.137.121 (talk) 00:40, 7 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Cover by Toyah edit

Does it count as a cover if it was only performed on a television show? Toyah sang this on the French and Saunders show, in the second season. It was part of a skit.

I don't think this is new wave. I think it's heartland rock. The Mo-Ja'al (talk) 05:54, 2 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
