Re-naming

edit

I have moved the page from 'The Beacons Way' to 'Beacons Way' in accordance with Wikipedia convention on use of initial 'the'. I shall get around to dealing with all of the redirects, which nevertheless still function. It brings it into line with the name as it appears on Ordnance Survey maps and indeed in the official guide to the route which refers to it as '. . the Beacons Way . . '(unless opening a sentence of course in which case it becomes 'The Beacons Way . . ' as one would expect). Geopersona (talk) 06:45, 30 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have now attended to the re-directs. Geopersona (talk) 18:32, 30 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Though the summit of this mountain is touched by the Beacons way, the image currently used shows a route which is not a part of the Beacons Way - indeed the BW is not visible on this image so an alternative would be preferable. cheers Geopersona (talk) 12:09, 4 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
