قصة الجد الاكبر بازان كان يحكم اليمن و اسلم في عهد الرسول عليه الصلاة و السلام ثم ابنه شهر . و جاء الاحفاد الى مصر مع الفتح و استقروا في بلبيس حيث كانت معسكرات المسلمين ثم انطلقوا مع الفتوحات حتى وصلوا الاندلس و هناك قرية بازان و في شمال اسبانيا يوجد مدينة صغيرة باسم بلبيس. Bazan was ruling Yemen as part of the Persian Empire (The Sassanid Empire). When prophet Muhammed sent messengers to the king of Persia calling him to Islam, the king sent to Bazan IN Yemen to investigate. Bazan Became Muslim and spread Islam in Yemen. One of the Ka'ba gates in Mecca (Makka) was named Bazan Gate (Bab Bazan). when Muslims opened Egypt their first camp was in Belbis (town near Cairo now).In Belbis, a large family their last name is Bazan. when Islam entered Andalucía (Spain) some of the Bazans settled in Spain. I have visited a small village in north Andalucía named Bazan. There is also a small town in Spain named Belvis(prononced Belbis). Near town of Bazan there is a town called Visio de LA marquise where a statue of Alfaro de Bazan (a Spanish hero who was fighting the Turks) he probably a descendant of Bazan family who were forced to become Christians during the occupation of Spain by the Catholics.
