His son, the second Baron, married Charlotta Philadelphia Horsley .... In accordance with the terms of his wife's inheritance he assumed the additional surname of Horsley in 1810. However, none of the subsequent barons have held this surname.
So it's curious that, in the list below, the third Baron is also Horsley-Beresford; the fourth is too, in his own article though not in the list; the fifth is John Graham Hope Horsley de la Poer Beresford. (There is no article for the sixth.) —Tamfang (talk) 01:30, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
