Copyright guidelines by the danish National Bank edit

This page Danmarks Nationalbank description of use of bank notes as an illustration (in danish) explains what the danish national bank accepts as use of photos of the banknotes. Only to represent money in general. Not as part of a description of the design (like this page) In all cases max 72 pdi.Slup —Preceding comment was added at 12:09, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Merge and rename edit

May I suggest merging this article with Banknotes of Denmark, 1972 series, and rename the new article "Banknotes of Danish krone"? This is the naming scheme outlined here. --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 04:37, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sounds like a good idea Slup 07:36, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:100kroner.jpg edit

Image:100kroner.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image available of Lion reproduced on ancak of 200 kr banknote edit

Hi, just wanted to inform the editors of this page that an image of one of the medieval stone lions used as inspiration for the lion on the 200 kr banknote is available for use, in case it found relevant. -- Slaunger (talk) 23:40, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I got a call from the police... edit

and it seems that a couple of the images on this page have been used for making counterfeit money. The policeman suggested that we removed the images or branded them with "SPECIMEN". Can we do such a branding? --Palnatoke (talk) 13:08, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The image of the 200 kroner note is from the Bank of Denmark's own web site so there is no problem in changing the images to notes branded with "SPECIMEN". Unless someone objects I'll do it January 9th. --Regards, Necessary Evil (talk) 01:28, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
