Adding more stuff! edit

Hi, I've written a draft to extend the scope of this article to be more international. I will begin porting it over this week, but it can be viewed here in my sandbox if anyone wants to look at it before I start moving it over. Let me know what you think! Peanutbutterisbad (talk) 20:10, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I mainly know about the United States, so I do not have any comments on the international aspects of this article. In the U.S., I would think that you would want to expand the article to cover the American Bankers Association, the Consumer Bankers Association, and the Independent Community Bankers of America. The ABA in particular is the main bank trade association. John M Baker (talk) 00:38, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Andrew Peer Review edit

Hi Peanutbutterisbad, this is shaping up to be an excellent article. The article was written in accordance to the main writing tenets of Wikipedia. I found the tone to be generally encyclopaedic and of a neutral point of view. I think the following sentence could use a citation:

  • “In the US, the Financial Services Roundtable is the most noted organisation involved in bank lobbying with members from the 100 largest banks and financial firms.”

Exactly who is saying that the Financial Services Roundtable is the most noted organisation? I also made some minor copy editing throughout the article. Other than that, I think the article is looking good. Great job! - Andrew34jack (talk) 23:21, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
