Who created Bandcamp? edit

- I also found that very annoying, so I've now added information about the founders and corporate information, as follows:
Bandcamp is a privately-held company founded in 2007 by former Oddpost[1] co-founders Ethan Diamond and Shawn Grunberger,[2][3] together with engineers Joe Holt and Neal Tucker;[4][5]
- I changed the infobox from "online music service" to "company" as well, as much in the previous infobox was left blank, and very little of the information entered was supported by any citations. -- Gavleson (talk) 10:38, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

The third paragraph of this article was lifted from an unreliable source, a self-published blogger whose text does not represent a neutral point of view. Other items on this blog include "CONSPIRACY: Is Zooey Deschanel wearing illegally enhanced eyelashes?" and "Alanis Morisette GOES JOGGING to get her bod into BANGIN shape" [sic]. Violates WP:SPS
The paragraph is technically neutral, since the author attributes all of the content to this blogger, but on the whole it seems like an attempt to portray the business/website in a poor light. Violates WP:NPV
While a quote from the lead singer about this policy, along with some context expressed in a neutral fashion, would be in line with Wikipedia's encyclopedic nature, this section is not up to the standards set by the WP admins. Winterwren (talk) 00:57, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- If you do some extensive research like roughing up a few people or simply reading the Bandcamp FAQ you come up with the fact that Bandcamp is the brainchild of Ethan Diamond among others who also happens to be a co-founder of Oddpost which was sold to Yahoo. Notable artists and labels And not encyclopedic content edit
I removed the not encyclopedic content on:
"Several indie game developers published their game soundtracks on Bandcamp, including the creators of Aquaria, Bastion, Sanctum, Machinarium, Terraria, Plants vs. Zombies, Limbo, Super Meat Boy, To the Moon, Fez, and Minecraft."
Does the jury find that none of those listed, "Aquaria, Bastion, Sanctum, Machinarium, Terraria, Plants vs. Zombies, Limbo, Super Meat Boy, To the Moon, Fez, and Minecraft" are notable? I believe that those are notable enough--Annemaricole (talk) 16:37, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
