improvements made and needed edit

Some improvements in referencing are needed. I've marked some of the places where specific cites are requires; the UN document should be cited from an official source, not a source within the Baha'i community. Some of the other sources are affiliated with Baha'i, and this needs to be specified. The references atthe end now given with bullet points should if possible be integrated within <ref> </ref> rtags in the appropriate places in the article.

The "Context" section is a little too extensive--if there is anther place in Wikipedia where this material is covered, that article should be linked to here, instead of repeating the material.

As a minor point, we do not generally link names of academic departments--it does not help the reader's understanding of this specific subject to read , say, a general article on Chemistry.

We do, however, give the names of people associated with the leadership of institutions, and list notable people associated with the institutions who have Wikipedia articles, to the extent they are publicly known, and with always respect to the provision in our WP:BLP policy that we do no harm in naming them. What is published on the web is of course available to all, but Wikipedia is a particularly conspicuous place, and the policy has in mind situations like that in Iran. I've addressed a variety of issues and significantly extended the referencing. Smkolins (talk) 12:15, 16 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
