The stuff in the second paragraph is lifted directly from one of the listed sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.123.207.22 (talk) 00:31, 18 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

There's no symbols as to where this place is, where these Badlands are, etc, etc. Grill 16:21, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Uhm okay edit

Considering the nature of this article, wouldn't it be appropriate to include a picture? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.175.17.2 (talk) 14:52, 6 December 2007 (UTC) In answer to your question about a picture being added. If you look in the history of the page someone tried to ad as far as I know the only available picture and Wikipedia took it off for some reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.110.243.73 (talk) 15:51, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

This article is useless without a picture. 75.75.110.235 (talk) 21:46, 27 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

The google maps link should point about 4km ESE of where it does. That link just looks at a hill! Pie fed (talk) 23:00, 20 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please don't delete edit

This article has 7 citations, 4 external links, a good picture, and it is interesting. Please don't delete it. Thanks -MC (talk) 01:01, 29 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I wanna know WHO on earth wanted this page to be deleted?? —Ƿōdenhelm (talk) 01:27, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Did it occur to you to read the deletion discussion before succumbing to your outrage? TastyCakes (talk) 23:33, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm outraged at your outrage about the outrage. This page is an important part of human knowledge, as it depicts an even better example of the very process of how star constellations came about (in the sense of us depicting something out of a natural feature). — ᚹᚩᛞᛖᚾᚻᛖᛚᛗ (talk) 21:00, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Not only that, as I point out in my note below, this feature was discovered via Google Earth, as part of a new form of Earth exploration. The Sydney newspaper article references this directly. 68.146.81.123 (talk) 01:07, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Nitpicking, but I'm not sure 'Earth Exploration' is the right term. Perhaps 'Earth Appreciation' would be more fitting. Judging by the fact there are roads visible in the area, it's pretty certain that it's been 'Explored' previously.Khan Tiger (talk) 03:18, 21 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Google Earth edit

I could have sworn this article used to include references to the fact it was discovered using Google Earth. I have put this back; everyone one of the sources cited mentions this, so why doesn't the article? 68.146.81.123 (talk) 01:06, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why isn't the Google Earth image used? edit

Any sources out there come from the Google Earth image, so why not use that here also? Dream Focus 03:32, 25 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I believe it's because it is not a free image, and probably doesn't qualify under fair use. I don't think you'll find google map images anywhere on Wikipedia for those reasons. But I'm no expert, please feel free to ask the people here for guidance on this. TastyCakes (talk) 19:13, 25 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
