This course is the same as BS Computer Science, they just call it BSSE in other universities

This article should redirect to the Bachelor_of_Engineering, just like other Bachelor of X Engineering do. GenXLatina 04:03, 18 July 2006 (UTC) GenXLatinaReply

Not necessarily true. Take, for example, countries where "Engineering" has legal meaning (e.g., Canada). A Software Engineering curriculum in those countries must meet a certain set of standards. Students who hold an SE degree can then pursue a career in engineering and become certified to create software that only professional engineers can create; usually this is software whose failure may impact the public health.

there is a change in BSSE and B.SE for example in B.SE we study the complete process of software development and we then have a specialized field in the software i.e. we have web development as a field, some can have android development, some can have other similar fields. while in BSSE they will teach you how to code and do not offer any kind of specialization in software development and they mainly focus on the architecture of computer system like DIT students..

(this is what i have got about the software engineering and BSSE courses offered here in pakistan.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 39.33.45.12 (talk) 06:38, 11 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
