Let's get started! edit

Alright, so I had to dig this article out of a deletion bin it had very unfortunately been placed into, and since that's all settled I suppose it's time to work on it! Any edits or additions people might like to consider performing to the article can be discussed in here now, and ideas about the article are better talked about here than a lot of direct messages to just a single user.

We have a few great things to start with, I see. Not one but two different possible sources we can work from. I see one is a fairly major web news publication in Korea and reading a translated version to English I can tell it's a featured product for that day. I don't see any direct solicitation, so it can't be considered advertising. Though we can't officially use this artice if it's only translated online unscientifically, it's still helpful to know of as a possible source and to help notability. The other link demonstrates some notability both in Asia and beyond, which is great! That shouldn't be much trouble.

Searching google quickly gives a lot of results! Wow. I'm actually kind of angry this was marked for deletion now, since even I hadn't done this search yet when I rescued it. There is a wide variety of possible sources that look available and I'm going to leave things there for others to look into. Just a warning-- blogs and other generic journals aren't usually considered to be reliable sources, and it is never okay to use a sales website as a source or link. Sharp-eyed editors (like me) will often delete them on sight, as keeping Wikipedia as clear as possible from sales spam is very important to us! daTheisen(talk) 07:13, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Minor Edit edit

Deleted the part which listed the nationality of the brands(Dr. Jart, Lioele, Skin Food, The Face Shop, Missha and SKIN79) as "German, Japanese and Korean" since all of those brands are from Korea.(Source: Homepage of each brands) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Passerby3243 (talkcontribs) 18:08, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Link to advertising page edit

I consider the external link to [1] to be purely advertising. I have reverted the insertion twice. Although that page is titled 'BB cream reviews' it is clearly an advertising page. Please give justification why the link should stay. peterl (talk) 03:12, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Infobox edit

BB cream
InventorChristine Schrammek
Available
  • South Korea (1985-)
  • Japan (1985-)
  • Western markets (2012-)

I recently impoved the infobox in this article (most recently to the version shown alongside), replacing a version which was a mess, but have twice been reverted. The mess Rshould be fixed. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 19:42, 18 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate that another editor reverted Pigsonthewing's stripping down the visible infobox info in the article to merely what showed this version. Seemed like a removal of the infobox entirely, in effect. The above replacement was only created and added by Pigsonthewings after I complained at ongoing ARBCOM AE discussion. It seems inferior to me to the version that was originally in the article, and to the version currently in the article which restored a picture to that. --doncram 21:33, 18 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
