My Proposed Edits edit

I would like to build out this article, primarily by adding sections that address what is currently known about axSpA’s signs and symptoms, diagnosis and causes. I’d also like to flesh out points that are already referenced, such as the distinction between the non-radiographic and radiographic forms of the disease. For instance, I think it’s worth mentioning the types of patients (e.g., those of a certain gender or those with certain comorbid conditions) who tend to have one form over the other. After addressing these aspects, I’d like to edit the lead section so that it’s more of a summary of the entire contents of the article and less of a standalone section.

I welcome any feedback or suggestions on this tentative plan! Fineptpen (talk) 10:04, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Page merge? edit

If the term is meant to replace ankylosing spondylitis, as suggested in the reference, then that page should be merged into this one.[1] This might necessitate some rewriting and further sources confirming that the new term is being used over the old one.
