Regarding the footnote "She is also a beautiful woman": My first thought was that this didn't belong in an encyclopedia article about a newsreader. But then I thought: articles about porn stars include their physical measurements, and articles about comic-book superheroes include the number of tons they can bench-press. Perhaps a comment about a female newsreader's beauty is really a sardonic statement on the double standards that allow networks to fire female newsreaders as soon as their first wrinkle appears, but keep right on employing male newsreaders until they drop dead (or get caught criticising the government, whichever comes first). It's not sexism; it's satire! ... Naah. Kill it. --Eric TF Bat 09:53, 27 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

The Esclator Over The Hill link isn't working. I have no idea how to fix it. 142.163.43.250 17:19, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
