Al Karak Elam edit
Should the Al Karak Elam be listed seperately? There is no question that the Avariel are based on the Winged Folk from the original Dragon Magazine article written by William Lenox, but the Al Karak Elam were originally a seperate race entirely, related to humans more than elves. Would it not make sense to give them their own article based on | the information from the original article?--Breandán 01:02, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- The article actually compares them to half-elves physically, and culturally they seem to have closer connections with elves than humans (see the part about their self-imposed exile). Also, several sources one the net regard them to be one & the same: [1], [2], [3], [4]. Many of the descriptions of the Avarial found on those pages seem to be quote directly from the Complete Book of Elves (2nd ed), which states, "The Avariel originally appeared in DRAGON® Magazine, issue #51, as "The Winged Folk."--Robbstrd 20:34, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
