Talk:Austronesian hypothesis

Latest comment: 5 years ago by Austronesier

This appears to be an essay made up of original research. There is not a single footnote, and the "references", are simply a list of references taken from this site. Onel5969 TT me 14:45, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

What exactly should we look at in this link, PRehse? – Uanfala (talk) 15:36, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Well, I just got smacked on the fingers for shunting this back to draft mostly based on the referencing, so I will abstain from further commenting here - but I did point out to the author that copying the bibliography in toto was a dodgy way to go about building an article. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 15:24, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
I suspect this is a copy paste from somewhere just not sure where.PRehse (talk) 15:31, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Elmidae: You defintely did the right thing. This is just a huge piece of OR with a nonsense title ("Austronesian hypothesis" implies that the AN language family is still disputed) and a plagiarized reference section. I will merge it with Austronesian peoples#Austronesian expansion. –Austronesier (talk) 19:34, 18 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
