First of all they are not actually a museum! They are just a barely existant online collective that does not and has never had their own building to display art. Just because they put museum in their title does not in any way shape or form make them an actual museum. The opening paragraph claims they are "gaining recognition around the world as an important museum" which is not substantiated by any sources, because it is an objectively false statement. The only source for this article is the website of AMODA itself, which does not actually describe it as a museum. It states "The Austin Museum of Digital Art (AMODA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage the public and artists in the creation, understanding, and appreciation of digital art. Currently, AMODA has no permanent physical space or venue." Similarly on their Indiegogo campaign they describe themselves as "Hi, we’re the Austin Museum of Digital Art: a nomadic nonprofit arts organization based in Austin, TX" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.49.200.62 (talk) 06:12, 5 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
