Racing information edit

TABs and Pubs still appear to have racing information show on Teletext/Austext TVs. Does anyone know what has happened here? Or has this information not come off AusText for a while? StaticSan (talk) 06:05, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

AUSWHAT!?! edit

AusText was discontinued as of September 30th, 2009; I find it sappaling that not a single soul in the entire Commonwealth of Australia even noticed, or told Wikipedia about it. Now Australia is left without a Telextext service, how very sad... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ipfreely555 (talkcontribs) 23:21, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Icon supertext.gif edit

Image:Icon supertext.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

View it online? edit

Hello! I don't have a TV but I have to do some research on Austext, especially it's design. Is there a way to view Austext online? 131.181.251.66 (talk) 06:00, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you mean can you view each or any pages specifically online then the answer is no. Cpandilo (talk) 28 August 2009 (UTC)

What happened to insertion of info edit

Why was the information with which I put in the Austext said removed? I added information which would serve as history when the service is closed next month. I included the message posted on the service by the Seven Network. Instead, now the page remains a stub and contains very little information about the service, some of its history, and also its content. Do you want more information or not?
