Historical Inaccuracies

A couple of things that should be added is that in the movie they show Attila taking the city of Orleans when the wiki on Attila shows he never took the city. Another more important flaw in my mind is the tactic it shows the Marian Legions using with their pila. The movie showed the Roman soldiers using the pilum as a hand-to-hand weapon when it was meant to be thrown before a charge with short swords meant as the melee weapon. --Petahhhh 08:56, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Roman infantry were known to use the pilum as an anti-cavalry weapon in melee, although it was rather infrequent. 71.10.229.50 (talk) 15:11, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

The Eastern Roman Empire

Constantinople appears in this television series as part of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire. Some of the scenes are set in the Eastern Roman Empire, and Tim Curry fills the role of Eastern Roman emperor. Accordingly, I have categorized this article under "Byzantine Empire in art and culture" or other media.
