How come they played in both the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana in 2014 and 2016? Mobile mundo (talk) 23:32, 8 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Unlike UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana allowed the same team to participate in both tournament, although its participation depended on the way in which the team qualified (e.g., Nacional qualified to the 2016 Copa Libertadores as 2015 Finalización champion, and qualified to the 2016 Copa Sudamericana as 2016 Superliga Colombiana winner). However, from 2017 the new rules will restrict the same team to compete in both tournaments. --Brayan Jaimes (talk) 01:01, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
