Largest towns without a railway station edit

Corby in Northamptonshire is usually considered to be the largest, and is some 10,000 inhabitants larger than Leigh. I've amended the article to reflect this. Crac4543 (talk) 15:03, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Corby now has a station. I have, in passing, always wondered why many people in leigh really will not have it that their town is one of the largest in the country without a railway station. The Leigh Wiki entry had a big "editing battle" a year or so back when all references to the lack of a railway station were banished and seen as an attack on the town! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.97.222.118 (talk) 09:12, 6 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
