Asterhan, The Town of Asters edit

I think something is missing in ancient history. There seems to have been a flourishing trade post which developed into town sometime in 500-300 BC on the river estate named Asterhan, (Town of Asters) derived either from Ishtar or Astarte. Maybe named later to Eshterhan at the time of Great Persian Kingdom by the Jews which were deported from northern ancient Kingdom of Israel in 722-721 BC by the As-sir (Assur) King Salmaneser to the far north provinces of As-sir (Assur) and spread as far as to the shores of Caspian Sea. For further details see various articles under title; Lost Tribes of Israel. The only way to have complete history collected is combining history of various different sources. In Chuvash language the city was named still Asterhan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.115.123.143 (talk) 19:07, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Symbol of Russian-Azerbaijani Friendship edit

I'm planning to add a section for this since the city has become a major symbol for the countries. Azerbaijan has invested into Astrakhan by my knowledge 3 schools were rebuilt, a park and a memorial as well a cultural center. Agulani (talk) 07:21, 20 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Update* I already created the section i believe it would add some new information since the article on Astrakhan can be improved, I'm planning to also include some more information on Astrakhan city in general. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agulani (talkcontribs) 07:16, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
