This article was prodded, by one editor, and then given a second prod by another. But simply by following the link given in the article to the list of his works in worldCat, it was immediately apparent that he was the author of half a dozen books of literary criticism and history, published mostly by the Oxford University Press one of which was reviewed by 3 publications, including the TLS,had published at least a half dozen vols of poetry, and there was a published book including him among the other poets discusses, and waseditor of three literary magazines. It helps to at least look up the obvious for unfamiliar subjects before trying to delete the articles. Personally I think such a search should be required.
