Artemis Records® is an independent record company founded in 1992 by Basil Fitzpatrick, with its debut artist release of the band Glaz Wind in 1994 and first to use in commerce the name Artemis Records to distribute and promote new music. This appears to have been a clumsy attempt to add information about a legal case involving a different label with the same name. The lawsuit sounds like it's quite relevant and should be added to the article, but needs to actually be written and not pasted in from the docket. The information about the other Artemis Records should go into a different article (assuming the label is inherently notable for something other than this lawsuit) and be linked from here.—Chowbok ☠ 11:24, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

The information is important to the article, it needs to be restored, then the information needs to be Wikified. Well, I see this has been going on for a while, now... so I will leave it for someone more fully adept with Wiki to bring the article up to speed. The article about the New York company was deleted at the end of 2010. A replacement article about the Californian label was deleted in 2011. I rescued the 2010 article in 2012.

The legal cases brought by Basil Fitzpatrick (California) seem all to have been dismissed, so even though there apparently is/was a California label by the same name, the cases do not indicate sufficient notability to describe the California label within the article.
