NOT the bishop of Szentendre
I would like to point out in this way to Pannonian and others that (as far as I know) Čarnojević was not the bishop of Szentendre. I'm not just deleting this for fun - if you would read what I wrote in the article (and no one objected to it yet) you would understand why. Estimate of the people in the Serbian Exodus should be corrected
In the article it is mentioned that Arsenij led "60-70 000 people (about 37 000 families)", which I think should be edited. I know that the number of people in the Serbian Migrations isn't known exactly, so it is normal the estimates to vary, however, it should be clear when they come from different sources/authors. Here for example it is obvious that "60-70 000" people altogether can't be the same as "37 000" families, since this gives on average less than 2 members per family. Not only this number is too small to call it a "family", but also it doesn't explain how the Serbs became the dominant ethnos in areas above Danube (today's Vojvodina), where they were at most a significant minority before the Migrations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.41.131.255 (talk) 13:53, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
Relationship with medieval Crnojević family
I have a detailed literature about patriarch Arsenije's biography, and while he indeed claimed to be a descendant of medieval Crnojević family, there was no proof that he really was, nor there is any data to fill the 150-year gap between last Crnojevići and his birth. In that time, it was kind of a fashion to claim noble heritage. For instance, his contemporary, count Georgie Branković, claimed descent from despot Branković family, while he most probably just shared the common surname.
