Most of the new article Arno's Vale consists of a (stub) description of Arnos Vale Cemetery. There is already an article on that subject (also a stub), so I suggest merging the information on the cemetery into a single article. Perhaps there should be a separate article on the Arno's Vale district as well? Charivari 06:23, 5 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Considering that Hobson-Jobson gives around nine different spellings for chatta it may seem less appropriate than usual in Wikipedia to point out a spelling "mistake" in this article (because it might very well be just another valid variant), so I'll just mention it here and people with more knowledge of the subject can consider the matter. So, is it "chattri", "chhatri", or something else?

Burial v Cremation edit

Just to note that the Bristol General Cemetery Company cremated as well as buried people at Arnos Vale. At least one person (Burges) listed as buried in the cemetery was in fact cremated. There are other notables who were cremated and could be added to the list. I am happy to edit the page but can't clear the space to do so for a couple of weeks Frothelhorse (talk) 11:50, 12 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Burial place for Charles Baggs likely incorrect edit

This page: http://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/bbaggs.html shows Charles Baggs (Catholic Bishop) was finally interred at Holy Souls Cemetery in Bristol, not Arnos Vale Cemetery (as stated here and on the Baggs Wikipedia page). Arnos Vale is an Anglican and Non-Conformist cemetery, Holy Souls (next door) is Catholic.164.11.120.43 (talk) 15:15, 18 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
