So touchy and POV: "ottomans killed 100K people, then killed 600K more. So round, exaggerated and unbelievable numbers. Ottomans were fighting at north, east, south, west. I would like to encourage everyone not to add any information not directly pertaining to the commemoration of the genocide and the significance of the date. Users can get all the information they need about the genocide itself from the Armenian Genocide article. All disputes concerning the genocide, its causes, casualties, etc, should be constrained to that article. --Aramգուտանգ 18:16, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

• I was going to say the same thing. Let the NPOV fights occur on the main genocide article. I personally think mass killings most likely took place, but this article is not the place to argue about it. I'm editing the article accordingly. --BlueMoonlet 18:43, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

why in Russian?

Why is the title given in Russian? or Turkish for that matter? Turkey is the reason for the commemoration, but hardly commemorates it.--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 11:52, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
