Talk:Arjen Lubach

Relevance of this page? edit

Could someone please explain me why this page even exists? Apart from the bad English, it's far too long and ridiculously specific for a relatively obscure and unimportant figure (even for Dutch standards). Is user 'Nederlandse Leeuw' (what a preposterous name) a family member or perhaps his lover? In any case, this POV tone is really irritating and overall this article is extremely weak. Can someone remove it or at least make it a bit shorter? C.Gesualdo (talk) 22:30, 2 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I will not take you seriously until you retract your personal attacks and show some civility. Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 00:18, 3 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
I won't. The name 'Nederlandse Leeuw' is unnecessarily nationalistic and has a facist connotation. But apart from that, the article is just completely ridiculous. A sample of 'The Voice of Arjen Lubach'. Are you kidding me? Why such a long (and detailed) article on a relatively unimportant figure? Why on earth would you translate (!) this article from Dutch to English at all? Arjen Lubach is not even an important figure in the Netherlands, why on earth is this relevant for the English-speaking world? Your chauvinism has no shame.
