Expansion ideas

The ancient appearance [1] seems much different than the modern. It looks like there were statues and possibly railings around the exterior, more levels, and it looks like seating has not been restored to some of the modern parts that previously collapsed - see File:Arena Nîmes - inside.JPG, [2]. It would also be interesting to have some images showing how the interior buildings were arranged. The restoration includes wood seating [3]; wondering if that was also present in ancient times (and presumably would not have survived). -- Beland (talk) 16:46, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
