Overlay code edit

It has not been confirmed in the latest decision (at last check, similar to 870). Here are the unassignable codes in 918 (except for N11s, home NPAs and others always unassignable):

  • 405 - adjacent area code
  • 539 - available for use (not assigned anywhere as an area code)
  • 572 - available for use (not assigned anywhere as an area code)
  • 580 - adjacent area code
  • 620 - adjacent area code
  • 870 - adjacent area code

There are only two possibilities for the overlay code, unless a new NPA is freed up somehow. It should be either area code 539 or area code 572. CrazyC83 (talk) 21:09, 4 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Update: Confirmed that 539 will be the new code. CrazyC83 (talk) 00:59, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Combining 539 and 918 pages into one using area codes 539 and 918 edit

Please use the area codes 539 and 918 prefix for all assocations of the new 539 area code.

The new area code becomes active March, 5 2011.[1] I have finished moving all pages and redirects. the old pages have been marked for deletion for having no links and no content anymore. --Darkskynet (talk) 08:40, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

There is no consistency on order (i.e. some pages have initial/overlay - my preference, others have lowest/highest like this one when they are not identical), so Area codes 918 and 539 should at least redirect as well. CrazyC83 (talk) 18:13, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
Would it be considered a unnecessary redirect as nothing points to Area codes 918 and 539? I am not against it just wondering what you think? --Darkskynet (talk) 18:24, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
