I heard a song that was part "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and part "Manamana" on the radio this morning. What was that?

Drum- & Basspattern being used by Sex Pistols before?

The whole song sounds fairly Sex Pistols to me, to the extent that I assumed they were going for that.

Perhaps I fail to pay as much attention to beat as I should, but I think the reason people compare the song to Lust for Life instead of Can't Hurry Love has nothing to do with the former being better known (is that even true?) and more to do with the fact that the song sounds nothing whatsoever like Can't Hurry Love and very similar to Lust for Life. (Maybe it's like the Blurred Lines / Got to Give It Up case, where one of the background tracks is very similar but a normal music fan, listening to both songs, will completely fail to recognize any resemblance whatsoever.) 70.131.48.56 (talk) 17:48, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
