In this article, in the development section, specifically, here- "...the executive producer of the original Mass Effect trilogy.[6]() Although Hudson left BioWare in 2014,..." in the space after the citation yet before the next sentence (indicated by me with parentheses), I believe more information could be included. Here is my proposed ( and short) insertion:
2012 is the same year in which BioWare's development team received the offer from EA to create the concept for a whole new franchise, soon after completing Mass Effect 3, which would have directly preceded the start of development.(Anthem's Official Reddit Page)
