High School edit

Mr. Heimlich attended Burbank High School, Burbank, California. IIRC, he graduated in 1968 or 1969. I will research. LorenzoB (talk) 16:49, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think this should go into the article. It's common knowledge.----68.123.159.110 (talk) 06:48, 1 November 2009 (UTC)68.123.159.110 (talk) 06:47, 1 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH ANSON WILLIAMS. HE GRADUATED IN 1967, FROM BURBANK HIGH SCHOOL. I HAVE ASKED SEVERAL PEOPLE ON THE TRACK TEAM, & NO ONE REMEMBERS HIM ON THE TRACK TEAM. SO I DOUBT HE WAS THE CAPTAIN. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE VARSITY FOOTBALL TEAM AS A BACK UP WIDE RECEIVER IN HIS SENIOR YEAR. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.6.95.219 (talk) 22:36, 29 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

None of the above information can be used to back up (or remove) anything in the article. We need reliable sources, meaning professionally published information, specifically and explicitly listed as sources. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 13:32, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Circular reference for Heimlich? edit

I've just done some source collection and citation, including finding a single published source (in Google Book Search) for the claim of the relationship between Anson Williams and Henry Heimlich of Heimlich maneuver fame. However, after looking at the footnote in which the "second cousin" connection is mentioned, I'm worried that the author of this 2010 book may have gotten their information from Wikipedia itself, making this a useless circular reference. Other (not necessarily reliable) sources say Williams is Heimlich's nephew, which is what this and another article said until an anonymous editor changed them in August 2007. (David Rose would hardly be the first author to incorporate unsourced Wikipedia material in a professionally published work.) ~ Jeff Q (talk) 13:50, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
