Remove ad tag edit

Eleven days ago an ad hatnote was placed by User:JanetteDoe. I contacted the editor on her talk page in this edit at that time. The editor has not responded to my request and has responded to other discussions on her talk page since that time. This edit was made along with two others within the same minute that day by that user. This article's ad like content was also previously addressed when it was nominated for deletion the first time on 2 June 2013 as well. I feel the removal of that hatnote is completely reasonable. Great article! edit

Who published her book? This person seems of zero significance & gets unwonted legitimacy from this article.

This book along with a sequel, The Trading Book Course, was published by Mc Graw-Hill Education- both books continue to be in print and sell and have also been translated to Mandarin Chinese Annemarietrades (talk) 17:00, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Anne-Marie BaiyndReply

Commissioned article? edit

That just makes me angry. I am the one that spent hours digging info on her and begging for permission to use the photo after reading her book. How dare they take credit for my work! --Gene Hobbs (talk) 14:10, 19 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough, but do be aware one of the services offered is a kind of "maintenance" package for existing articles they did not write. Any edits from unknown editors may need additional checks to make sure they are legitimate edits. Agnes Khan (talk) 14:29, 19 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Interesting, I'll watch more closely then. Thanks for the heads up. --Gene Hobbs (talk) 14:51, 19 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
