Editha Salomon, Anne Odelia DisDebar, Swami Laura Horos, etc.a edit

Golden Dawn seems to have come up with the origin story of Anna Sprengel being the love child of Lola Montez and Ludwig of Bavaria in about 1886. Anne Odelia Diss Debar was using that as her own origin story, per contemporaneous news accounts, from 1871 or earlier. (Editha Saloman was her birth name, I think.) This suggests to me that Mathers might have been familiar with her before she showed up as Swami Laura Horos https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swami_Laura_Horos and suggested she was the real Anna Sprengel. Anne Odelia Diss Debar was a long-time feature of the Spiritualist and Theosophical movements by then, and it is not impossible that they would have had some interaction before.
