Birthdate edit

This entry lists two different conflicting birthdates, one in August 1977 and one in April 1982. Which one, if either, is correct? 72.160.162.141 (talk) 19:15, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Anita Hassanandani ReddyAnita Hassanandani – This is the name she uses in her social media accounts and other details as well. Please change it as soon as possible. 109.152.178.72 (talk) 20:34, 14 February 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. В²C 21:03, 21 February 2019 (UTC)--Relisting. B dash (talk) 13:07, 1 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment: we tend to go off WP:COMMONNAME not social media name, but her Facebook uses "Reddy" whereas her Twitter does not. SITH (talk) 10:40, 15 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment: Even if you see her in the news she calls herself Anita Hassanandani instead of Reddy and plus this is the common name she uses. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.152.178.72 (talk) 17:50, 15 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Support moving to Anita Hassanandani per WP:COMMON such as 1 2 3 This is a non-controversial request as the current title was arbitarily decided by a user blocked on sockpuppetry grounds.  samee  converse  17:17, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • I think the move you're talking about changed the title from Natassha, where it had been stable for 8 years until 2014. Anita Hassanandani is a new title suggestion, right? Natassha still redirects here as well. I'm not sure why it's been removed from the lede. Dekimasuよ! 19:53, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Dekimasu I was referring to the second move from Anita Hassanandani (actress) to the present title. Natassha was her pseudonym in early days of her career.1She abandoned her stage name in late 2005 and now she's more commonly known as Anita Hassanandani.  samee  converse  20:35, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
OK, in either event the same editor moved the page from Natassha to Anita Hassanandani (actress) and from Anita Hassanandani (actress) to the present title 28 minutes apart on the same day, so I don't think any sockpuppetry is really what should decide anything here. I don't object to the move, but if she is credited in older appearances as Natassha, that name should still appear in bold somewhere in the intro. Dekimasuよ! 20:44, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • We should put it to Anita Hassanandani because she is using that name not Natasha. Not Reddy but just Anita Hassanandani. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.152.178.72 (talk) 11:02, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Sindhi ancestry edit

@Cyphoidbomb: Sir regarding this edit, the source [1] which you deleted, supposedly links to her Instagram post which mentions her ancestry. It is the 6th picture from the top of the India.com link. However that picture can't be opened for some reason. Kindly verify. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:20, 30 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Fylindfotberserk: Thanks. I've linked directly to the Instagram post. I don't know of a better way to do this. It's a verified account, we need caste to be self-identified, so this seems the most reasonable. I don't see how it would be worse than if she said it in an interview.
