Suggestion to merge this article with Ang Mo Kio because they are pretty much the same thing. A bit confusing with the New Town alias, considered expanding Ang Mo Kio instead.

They aren't actually the same thing. Citing the reasons in the discussion located at Wikipedia talk:SGpedians' notice board and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Singaporean places, Ang Mo Kio New Town is a legal entity, with clear boundaries. Ang Mo Kio is a cultural and geographic entity. The New Town is the HDB entity, Ang Mo Kio is distinct from it. Elle vécut heureuse à jamais (Be eudaimonic!) 17:29, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

What do you think are the pros and cons of Ang Mo Kio New Town? Perhaps Ang Mo Kio New Town is not needed at all.
