I am actually the subject of the article Andrew Ballen. The original and current draft of this entry was written by third parties- some of whom have or currently work for me and others who know me in a personal or professional capacity. These persons include my elder sister, Sharon Ballen Waddell, Tom Hill-Tout a friend and long-time mentor, Caitlin (Jia Ying) YUE an employee of mine in China, and Monica Chi a research intern from Equador, who currently resides in China.
My direct input and that of my family (particularly my elder sister and maternal uncle) was sought in crafting the content regarding my family background, early life and education.
The information surrounding my career is cited within the text and objectively credible. The few opinions included are inevitably subjective as the subject matter is a life story, but I believe a review of this article by associates and other objective persons who have detailed knowledge of my life, incl. authors and investigative reporters (e.g. Tavis Smiley and writers for CNN Money Magazine) will confirm the fact that the subject matter (my life and career) is treated in as "objective" a manner as any concise biographical survey can be.
