Band History & Discography

This article currently doesn't make it clear that the "band's" debut album Krypteria (A.K.A. Liberatio) isn't technically from the band - rather a pop musical theatre studio project. It is related to the band as it was conceived by Chris Siemons and S.C. Kuschnerus and Ji-In Cho's version of Liberatio was later added to the album and it was re-released in 2005. I'm thinking that the history needs to be reworked - the band only existed as Krypteria from 2004, though the earlier work may still be worth mentioning due to the relation to some of the band members. I had the chance to interview Krypteria and I asked to unveil the truth: "KUSCH: Ok, I’ll try my best to finally shed some light on this. The band Krypteria, that being Ji-In, Chris, Frank and myself, was formed in the winter of 2004/2005 and we consider “In medias res” our debut album, so the fans’ assessment is spot on. On this record you can already identify some of the ingredients that later would define our musical style and our sound. But only with our 2006 EP and even more so with our second album “Bloodangel’s Cry” we forged what is the Krypteria way. Our evolution continued with album #3, “My Fatal Kiss”, and everything we do now has its foundation in our live identity. The 2003 release was more of a musical theatre project with an international cast and is definitely not an official band album. And despite the fact that on its 2005 re-issue Ji-In’s charity version of the song “Liberatio” is featured, this record is a collector’s item for the die-hard fan at best but in no way part of the band’s official discography. style?

I see this band is listed as being power metal, but i'm not hearing most elements in the music. its metal, but I would say more symphonic than anything... its strange because its not as refined as some acts. I can hear it in "All Systems Go" but compare it to "Lost"... Sephiroth storm (talk) 20:05, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

How to Write Their Label
