Warning - dates edit

The Russian page confuses references and dates to the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists and the European Ichthyological Society, so any information on those needs to be double-checked. Some misinformation has already been corrected during translation/research (other potential misinformation simply not included) Anastasia Bykova (talk) 14:53, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

[EDIT]
Specifically:
Him as vice-President (1979-1982) - not clear if he was, not clear what of, from further research. And
Honorary Member of European Ichthyological Union (now European Ichthyological Society) (1982) - a Russian source cited (kamchatsky-krai biography - itself referenced) but no other confirmation found - email to the Society sent, just to be sure. Another source states that he was Vice-President of this Society - not trustworthy.

  • All articles in Russian Wikipedia need to be double-checked. If you are a Russian speaker, it is easier and certainly more advantageous to write a new article from scratch than to translate it.--Ymblanter (talk) 14:57, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
