The section on Chicago is incorrect. In Chicago Ames had entered in 1998 by moving into Zayre stores.4.142.141.205 15:48, 20 February 2007 (UTC)MarkitchReply

Fair use rationale for Image:Ameslogo.gif edit

Image:Ameslogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 17:30, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is Ames opening stores again actually true? edit

I actually have doubts on this. First off, their Instagram AND X, haven't posted anything after January 12, 2023. https://www.instagram.com/amesdepstores?igsh=MXM1MXl1MnFqNGhrcg==

https://twitter.com/amesdepstores

Facebook hasn't posted anything since July 26, 2023. I googled the number provided 508-943–1650 and gave me an address of 4 Airport Rd. Dudley, MA 01571

I put in that address and I got this:

https://www.google.com/gasearch?q=4%20airport%20rd%20dudley%20ma,%2001571&tbm=&source=sh/x/gs/m2/5

Googling the address listed multiple buildings. This is linked to another store in the same shopping center.

If anyone can verify the authenticity of this claim, please post. Karaokelegend (talk) 21:27, 27 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Lowville, NY edit

The former Lowville, NY location was originally a Big N. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.59.245.106 (talk) 20:15, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
