Merge

Haleacre Unit is a short, unsourced article, with no independent notability, and it would seem sensible to merge here, with a redirect. Rodhullandemu 16:10, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

I started both the Amersham Hospital and the Haleacre Unit articles. I gave Haleacre a separate article because it is generally treated by staff and patients as being very separate entity from the primary hospital building - it is, in a sense, treated as a 'Mental hospital' in it's own right. It is not accessible from any other entrance except it's own. On-site signage depicts it separate. It is notable because all psychiatric in-patients (sectioned and voluntary) in the area used to go there. This role is now filled by the Tindal Centre, whch has it's own article. If consensus is that it should be merged however, so be it Dvmedis (talk) 07:30, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Seems plausible, but both articles tend towards the pitiful and could benefit from expansion. For the time being, I find it hard to get excited about this. Rodhullandemu 22:47, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
