Page expansion edit

I am currently working on expanding this page. I expect to be doing this for the next month. I am adding all of the classes and the breeds within them (with links) and will be expanding the sections about the book itself and its uses. Please be patient as I am doing this because I will be working sporadically and there may be times when I leave sections of the page unlinked to other articles until i am done writing and editing it.Upfoamer (talk) 05:06, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am confused as to why the edits that I made recently were removed. There was note put in the edit history that the page was about hte book and that breeds should not be listed. I was attempting to put in a summary of all of the classes of poultry that are currently recognized in the standard and i do not see why this is not relevant to the book. The entire purpose of the book is to document American poultry, something that the list of chicken breeds does not do. Also I was not listing every breed and variety but rather the classes and the major breeds within them to indicate the scope of the book and expand understanding of its purpose. Also I was going to add all of the classes not just those for chickens, so that it would reflect the content of the book. If the person who made the changes could please explain why my version of the article is not appropriate it would be appreciated.Upfoamer (talk) 23:56, 8 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
