Binomial edit

The article currently says the binomial is Capra hicus. If the pygmy is truly a breed of domestic goat, should this not be Capra aegagrus hircus? Tomertalk 09:42, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Would make sense to me, but I'm not an expert on binomial classifications or goats, so I shall leave that change for someone else to do (DirtySocks85 07:30, 7 May 2007 (UTC))Reply

Pictures? edit

Why were the pictures taken? PhotoNikonMan 19:24, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I honestly don't know why they were taken, but because they have been removed on numerous occasions without a reason being left, I'm putting a partial lock on the thread (DirtySocks85 07:28, 7 May 2007 (UTC))Reply

Pygmy goats are indeed it's own species, for it has been classified as a pygmy goat since the 50's in U.S.A. (PGD 8:25 PM) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pygmy Goat Disturbance (talkcontribs) 04:29, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Copyvio edit

All or most of this article may be a copyvio, with the exact wording to be found on other websites, some of which appear reputable, others themselves probably copied from this article. Exploding Boy (talk) 21:43, 6 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

The information and photos in this article are not true and correct for pygmy goats. The one photo of a herd of goats is not of pygmy goats at all. Please notify the National Pygmy Goat Association for the true representation of the pygmy goat. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.40.208.156 (talk) 00:52, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Inaccurate Photos being used edit

Why is it so impossible to get accurate pictures of real American Pygmies? You site the National Pygmy Goat Association as your source material but continually fail to request and use photos of actual Pygmies. The NPGA Public Relations Board would be so happy to work with Wiki to ensure that accurate information and photos are used. I don’t understand why this is so difficult? 2601:8C1:8281:6E50:4C3E:19AE:7B5B:E7F5 (talk) 02:52, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

IPv6, if you want to upload images under a free licence that would allow anyone, anywhere, to re-use them for any purpose, not excluding commercial use, then please do so. If you are not the photographer you will probably have to provide evidence of ownership of the copyright. The upload page is here.
