Cutting back on article contents edit

Due to the fact that the article looked like a corporate brochure and was almost exclusively based on self-authored promotional sources and press releases, contents were cut to what can be supported by the sources that were impartial and reliable.

As this article was made into a stub, please proceed by ONLY adding content that can be referenced from independent sources from now on.

Previous contents of the article are preserved in article history and can be accessed here if you feel that any content might be worth retrieving for citation. Gnkgr (talk) 22:34, 24 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good day. You have removed basically ALL information. I do not believe that this is appropriate. The page as it was, contained accurate info and it was indeed sourced at the college's page. What is presented right now is not accurate, as for example there is no mention of the other two schools the college incorporates. Marinosk (talk) 17:58, 4 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please review guidelines such as WP:Reliable sources and WP:NPOV. If you'd like to restore any contents of the article they should be supported by sources. So if you have to recommend sources that would be acceptable by the above guidelines please feel free to mention in reference of any contents they can support. Thank you for your reply. We have reviewed a number of pages of Wikipedia before proceeding to the changes we made and here is a list of colleges in the US that have a number of references to their own webpages: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babson_College, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Notre_Dame, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeastern_University, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_College, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PennWest_Clarion, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockton_University, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rider_University, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_North_Florida, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Utah and a number of others. My question is why in the above cases the reference to their own websites is acceptable and in ours is not? Marinosk (talk) 18:00, 5 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
